Lost Disk Space Mac OSX

Hi, I installed VMware fusion 3.1 on my Lion OSX mac,

I installed windows 7 on this clicking the "More seamless" option.

After I downloaded and ran the windows 8 developer preview.

This didnt work tho

I decided to remove it all so I deleted the Virtual machine from VMware and deleted the Virtual Machines folder from Documents.

I noticed this hasnt feed up any space (I have emtyed the recycle bin).

I then unitalled VMware fusion and restarted, Cleared all the caches on the mac and restarted again.

Im not missing 15gb of HDD space, I use a 120GB SSD so 15gb is a lot to me,

Can anyone advise me how to get it back I really dont want to format my machine

do a search for vmdk-files - maybe the ones from your Windows 8 attempt are still present
