Location Services not working on macOS in the VM

I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch (mid 2012) with macOS Catalina Version 10.15.1.

I am using VMware Fusion 11.5.1.

I created a standard-settings VM for macOS Catalina (I want to test the Beta), only changing the disk size to a bit larger.

Problem: location services are not working. They are turned on, but my location is not detected neither by system services, nor by any location-using app.

For instance, I can't ask the system to set my time-zone automatically, the check-box doesn't even exist. Or when I use Maps, I get a message saying it can't locate my position. And so on.

I tried changing the Network setting from NAT to others, with no success.

Any hint?

Thanks

I believe in Catalina that location services relies on bluetooth connections to other apple devices.  If that's the case, those wouldn't be available to the VM, hence the lack of location services.
