Liecence key for ver 12

Hi. I want to install VMware on my Mac. Running 10.15.7 (Catalina). I have registered. And I have a key for vesion 13. This does not work for 12. Any idea how I can get one or get it to work?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section .

Thank you

This post is very much in the wrong section, so I have reported it to the moderators, Fusion has it’s own area.

You can downgrade a v13 licence to get a key for v12.

Hi Milothecat, to resolve this issue, ask your super user or procurement officer (if you are not) via the license portal to downgrade the license key from 13 to 12. Even better, it would be ideal that you upgrade your VMware Fusion to the latest as it will have the latest fixes and resolution of security VULN.

Hi,

One additional note.

Not all versions of VMware Fusion 12.x work on macOS Catalina.

The last version to work is Fusion 12.1.2.

VMware Fusion 12.2.x and later do not work on macOS 10.15.7
