License key

I own a bought and paid-for 12.0 version of VM-Ware Fusion for my Intel-based Mac.  I already have Windows 7 installed, with software that I need.  But when I try to start Fusion, it asks for a license key!  I thought I already had this install licensed - why is it asking for that number again?  How do I recover my license key?  I do NOT want to have to reinstall Fusion because I'll lose not only my installed OS, but also my installed software.

Assistance, please?

Thread reported so moderators know it should be moved to the area for Fusion, since it is not about a vSphere security advisory.

You can see your license key in the MyVMware section of the website.  Log in and you will be able to see all products you have purchased.

Uninstalling/Reinstalling Fusion will not affect your virtual machines... to your host, they are merely documents/files.  Similar concept to how uninstalling Microsoft Word would not do anything to your existing Word-created documents.  Of course you wouldn't be able to read them until you reinstall/upgrade Word, but the documents will remain untouched.
