Latests Fusion Beta and USB

I have had the previous version of Fusion Beta working with my Memorex USB memory stick with great sucess. Unfortunately This latest version will not mount the USB drive. It Disappears from the Finder but does not appear as a device in my VM. Any ideas on what has changed? This was working.

The latest beta (4.1) incorporates changes that were required due to the different USB stack introduced with the latest Santa Rosa chips as well as the update to 10.4.10.

I would suggest filing a support request[/url]...

Can you think of anything else that changed? Going from beta 4 to beta 4.1 shouldn't have broken this...

Which guest? What version of OS X?

winXP Home SP 2 -

VM Fusion Version 1.0b4 (48339)

It looks as if more problems exist in the conversion. IE, Help and several other applications are causing exceptions. MS office however appears to be working fine.

You need to download beta 4.1, which addresses the USB issue. See the announcement at the top for more details.
