Keyboard problem

Hi Guys,

I've strange problem. I can't properly use keybord with international keyboard (polish). For example "left option + e" should give me sign "ę" but it doesn't work. It works only with "right option + e".

Is there any solution for such behavior? I use MacOs Catalina and Vmware fusion 11.5.7

Hi Wojtek,

This is normally a matter of making sure that you select the same keyboard layout in your guest OS.

Eg. if you are in Windows 10 then you should also set the keyboard layout in Windows 10 to match your keyboard, not only in macOS.

From the looks of it they nowadays hide this under "Time & Language" settings, then select Language

Then click on Options to add and select the actual keyboard layout that you want to use:

If you have more than 1 keyboard layout, then you can switch keyboard layouts via an option in the taskbar that shows the currently selected language/keyboard.
