I'm running VMware Fusion  Pro 7.0.1on my mac Pro (10.9.5).

Is there any way of changing the keyboard settings under windows 8 to work with a mac keyboard?

On a mac keyboard the @ is on key 2, In Windows the 2 key is assigned to ".

Goto Virtual Machine ==> Settings ==> Keyboard and Mouse and change to Windows 8. That got me most of the way there but still ±§ were interchanged with ~` so I had to edit those into the mix.
