Installing Ver 1.1 upgrade - failed to run post flight script

I just downloaded the Ver 1.1 upgrade to use with Leopard. Installation went to 100% and then I got an error - Failed to run post flight script for VMware Fusions. It told me to contact VM ware, but they want $25 for technical support. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

Uninstall the VMware Fusion and delete following file and folder:

~/Library/Preferences/com.vmware.fusion.plist

~/Library/Preferences/VMware Fusion

Reinstall Fusion 1.1 and check.
