I wasn't planning to do much on the vm xp pro i instaled so for some reason i put in 2gb, yeah thats right 2gb.
How can i got about increasing the size of the disk?
Thanks.
You can expand the disk with the command-line program vmware-vdiskmanager (under /Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/). If command-line tools aren't your thing, I wrote a GUI wrapper[/url] for it.
Either program should only be used when the virtual machine is shut down (not suspended) and Fusion is not running.
But how or where do you determine the size of the vdisk...
Are you going to add the ability to turn unallocated into preallocated?
That would eliminate the need for vdiskmanager wouldn't it?...

You can get the current disk size from Fusion (Virtual Machine > Settings > Removable Devices > Hard Disk). My GUI wrapper doesn't (yet) do this.

It's already there, under the Convert tab.
See the referenced post for instructions on how to do this:

You could also just add another hard drive to your existing VM. I am sure there are plenty of guides on how to do this. Basic steps are:
1) Shut down VM
2) Virtual Machines -> Settings
3) Add device (plus symmbol)
4) Add Hard Drive
5) Restart VM
6) Activate, partition and format drive (exact steps will depend on OS)
