If you rip CD through Fusion, is the CD ripped to a small storage space within Fusion or to the main drive in Mac?

Is there a way to direct the CD to either Mac, or adjust the storage within Fusion to be about 2GB, so that I could remove the file after each CD?

What do you mean by “rip CD through Fusion”?

You would either be ripping a CD using the host MacOS, or using whatever guest OS you are running inside a Fusion VM.

Whichever OS you are running the ripper application in is the one that will be storing the resulting file(s).

Hi,

You can probably use the shared folder feature to directly rip your CD to a folder at the host.

Yup, that works just fine.

To the OP - try XLD for ripping CD's...does a great job, and it's mac native.
