I deleted a lot of virtual machines but now i have the HDD full of garbage.

Hi! I've installed and erased many virtual machines but when I see the space used on the disc does not release the space saved for VM's, anyone know how to release that space?

Have you emptied the Trash?

Well if you did indead put the Virtual Machine's in the Trash and then emptied the Trash then you should have regained the disk space used by them! Smiley Wink

Other then that you haven't really presented enough information to analyze so I do not have much more to offer then suggest using something like Disk Inventory X or GrandPerspective to look at the Macintosh HD from a graphical perspective to help isolate what's consuming all the space.

Otherwise... To help figure out what is what, the best way to provide comprehensive diagnostic information is to use the "Collect Support Information" command from the VMware Fusion (menu bar) > Help > Collect Support Information and then attach the .tgz file it created on your Desktop to a reply post.

Did you delete them from the system or just from the fusion library?

Since one is explicitly asked whether to keep the file or move to the trash there certainly isn't any ambiguity there however it's certainly a good question to ask! Smiley Wink

From the system. Thx for asking, and all the help. I'll try some software to do that.

Thanks a lot.
