I can't suspend my VMs on my new iMac

I brought a new iMac. I already had an external HD so I used Disk Utility to copy everything from my external to my new iMac's HD.

Fusion did well except for I can't suspend my VMs on my new iMac's HD. A dialog box says something about memory lock. I'll gladly make a screen shot of the dialog box if you don't know what I'm talking about.

We'd be glad to help, first as you said a screen shot would be best. Also, you can gather additional logs from the help menu "Collect Support Information".

Both would be helpful. From here I'm assuming that since you said you had copied content from your PC that we're not discussing a Boot Camp partition in Fusion. That being said if the Virtual Machine is shut down and you Ctrl+Click on the virtual machine .vmwarevm and choose "Show Package Contents", is there anything in there that says .lck and if so have you tried to remove it yet? Also we want to make sure that the host computer itself has been restarted and the issue retested.

Sincerely

Andrew

Thank you Andrew. Erasing the .lck folder worked.
