How to set Host machine IP address on Custom Network?

Good morning,

I'd like to ask, how can I set Host machine IP address on Custom Network (Private Host-Only or NAT) to something else than .1?

I understand that there is a convention for Address Use on a Host-Only / NAT Network according to https://www.vmware.com/support/ws55/doc/ws_net_advanced_ipaddress.html but I'd like to override this.

The reason is that I'd like to have router with one interface on Custom - Private network with IP address .1 and it's already taken by Host machine IP assigned in my case to bridge100 or bridge101 and it's not convenient that I can't control this. Also I'm not really interested in DHCP coming from vmWare custom network as the virtual router is the one providing DHCP for this custom network, but looks like this could be disabled in /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/networking.

I found something like it should be possible set VNET_?_VIRTUAL_ADAPTER_ADDR in /Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/networking, but it doesn't seem to work.

Thank you in advance for an advice and have good day everyone.
