Macbook 13" (early 2008), Intel Core 2 Duo, Lion, Fusion 5, Windows 8 Pro
Hi,
I want to open the BIOS adjustments to see for a Network Booting option PXE.
In Beginners Guide´and in Power User´s Guide I cannot find, how to reach the BIOS, when Fusion starts up.
What is to do?

As it shows on the Virtual Machine's Display you enter the BIOS by pressing the F2 key or select the Boot Menu by pressing the Esc key. You have to click into the Display for it to accept keyboard input. Additionally on a MacBook you may also need to press the fn key in conjunction with the F2 key depending on how you have Keyboard preferences set in OS X.
Have a look at: Accessing the BIOS when the POST screen clears too quickly (1004129)
BTW You're in the VMware Workstation forum and in the future for VMware Fusion you should be posting in VMware Fusion® (for Mac).

Additionally with the new version of VMware Fusion 6 you can use the steps below:
1. Launch VMware Fusion 6
2. From the Mac menu bar click on Virtual Machines > Settings > Startup Disk
3. Press and hold the Option key on the keyboard - you will find the option - "Restart to firmware..." click on the same
You will be taken directly to the BIOS screen the next time the virtual machine is started.
