I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but I'm really confused. I just bought a Macbook Pro and am attempting to run Windows XP on it. I like to keep my Mac desktop clean, with nothing on it but the harddrive icon, but when I created a folder in WIndows, it appeared on my Mac as well. I don't know if that was supposed to happen or if I selected something during setup to make it happen. If it was something that I chose, is there any way I can undo it so that nothing bleeds from my virtual machine onto my Mac desktop? I remember coming to a part where I was asked if I wanted to share my home folder or mirror it and I did the latter.
Sorry if this is a silly question, I've been a PC user my whole life and am still trying to figure all this out. I'd appreciate any advice anyone could give me.
