How to install different display adapter driver in guest OS?

I'm using VMware Fusion 5 running guest OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (64-bit) under OS X Mountain Lion on MacBook Pro with Retina display.

I'm experiencing display adapter performance issues in some applications of guest OS.

I've tried Parallels 8 with same setup. Display adapter performance is much better. I've extracted display adapter driver (that were installed with Parallels Tools). Then I've installed driver to my guest OS in VMware Fusion. But when I select to use Parallels driver in Device Manager for VMware SVGA 3D I get error like "your operating system version is not compatible with this driver". And the driver update process cancels. But it's the same Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) I'm using in VMware Fusion and Parallels.

Is there any way I can "push" that driver "in" and use it with my VMware Fusion setup?

You cannot install the Parallels Display Driver in a VMware Fusion Virtual Machine!  You have two choices, the default driver Windows installs prior to installing VMware Tools or the driver that VMware Tools installs!
