Hi guys, I am having trouble connecting my external hard drive to my virtual machine.
I have as host operative system OS X Yosemite and I want to have as a virtual machine another Yosemite machine. The problem that i am having is that I have some time machine backups in a thunderbolt hard drive connected to the host that I want to be able to see in the guest operative system. The problem is that by sharing the backup folder in that drive it seems the guest cannot find the backups.
I know there is no problem with the folder in the drive because i use similar process with another mac (I connected the thunderbolt drive to the new mac) and I was able to find the backups and restore the computer. But with the virtual machine I can't.
Any suggestions.
