How safe is VM Ware Fusion 11 Encryption? AES?

What kind of Encryption is VMWare Fusion 11 using?

AES? 128 or 256? Or something else?

Assuming that the .vmdk is encrypted in the same way as the .vmx then it is AES 256 bits
