How do I expand my hardrive space in VMware Fusion?

I recently installed Vista as a virtual machine in VMware. When I originally installed this I gave it a 10 gig partition. (I regret this in hindsight) Now I would like to add an additional 20 gig to this operating system. I have tried the obvious step of shutting down Vista and using VMware Fusion Hard drive tab. that did not work.

Are there any documented procedures on how to do this?
