How do I add another bridged network device to the list of bridged devices for a virtual machine on OSX High Sierra? It's not intuitive!

Hi Idunno26354 ,

How did you add the bridged device to macOS, is it a physical USB NIC or others? Did you refresh Fusion settings (close and reopen it) after you plugged the device into your macOS?

The Lenovo USB-C Hub is a hardware device that plugs in to a MacBook's USB-C slot. The drivers are automatically added to the system by OSX. I would like to know why VMWare Fusion Pro won't recognize it in the list of Bridged Network Devices, and how to fix it. Otherwise I will continue to simply use the sharing IP option.

Hi Idunno26354 ,

Could you see that USB-C hub in VM usb settings? You can check it by VM->Settings->USB & Bluetooth Settings.

Also, please check if it is read as ethernet hardware on your macOS via 'Apple' icon -> About This Mac -> System Report...-> Network
