Help...virus attack

I need to re-install win7 into fusion4 but I need to keep all my applications and documents.

Is this possible and how?

This really is not a VMware issue pre se and you need to do just as you would if this was physical machine with Windows installed.  Therefore, consult Microsoft on how to Install, reinstall, or uninstall Windows.

If you have taken backup of your VM then you can get all your applications and documents other wise not possible.

Thanks but...

I tried to do a backup in win7 and just got error messages although i have taken a snapshop a few days ago. If I get rid of win7 will I also lose the snapshots or can I still use them to update a new install.
