It says that a fatal error has stopped setup from continuing and that one of the components that Windows needs to continue setup cannot be installed. Can anyone help me out?
Most likely your CD is bad - if it's an ISO you burned, re-burn it at the slowest speed possible. The ASMS issue is an FAQ for XP with badly burned images.
