Has anyone used Fusion on a macpro w/ Quadro FX card?

Just wondering if anyone has seen a performance boost from the Quadro FX in their virtual machines? Will fusion take advantage of it?

My card is about to go bad and was considering buying a used Quadro on ebay. I'd like to see a faster video\desktop performance (in termas of redraw) running graphic applications, running os-x server in a vm.

TIA

The Virtual Machine does not see the physical graphics adapter as it emulates its own.

VMware Fusion (menu bar) > Help > Search > type Specifications then select Virtual Hardware Specifications

That said, it stands to reason that the better the underlying physical hardware layer is the better the performance on the Host and in turn there should be some benefit however if the primary reason for purchasing that particular card is for better performance in and Guest Mac OS X Server Virtual Machine then you'll probably be disappointed.

That seems to make sense. Thanks!
