Graphics applications on Linux or Vista

I am in the process of evaluating VMware Fusion to run applications native to Linux 64 and Vista 64 on an iMac. The applications are available on both platforms and I am wondering which virtual machine is most appropriate, especially since the graphics requirements are very heavy...... Anyone with any experience?

We don't have 3D graphics support for linux guests as yet. You should also note that there is presently no support for OpenGL in Windows guests. If you could provide more details about what you're trying to run that would be helpful.
