Get rid of the menu bar icon

Running 10.11, Fusion 8.01.  I have a single Windows 7 VM that I run full screen on its own screen (right arrow key over).

I want to get rid of the menu bar in the OS X side of things.  This is that double arrow icon that has a Windows like menu drop down.  I have gone to Settings>>>Applications Menu and I don't see the choice to "Never" display?

Any help would be great!

Thanks,

-Lindy

Hi Lindy,

It should be under VMware Fusion (menu in top-left) > Preferences... > General, then next to Applications Menu choose "Never".

Cheers,
