Fusion6 - VMware Tools Problem

Anyone else having problems with VMware Tools from Fusion 6 on Windows 7?

Any solutions?  (A reinstall of VMware Tools did not help.)  Thanks!

I am using windows 7 SP1 on Fusion 6.0. But I didn't encounter such problem.

Could you please tell me in which condition you have this problem? :smileyconfused:

I am not sure how to answer your question. I am also running Win7 SP1, but after re-booting Win7 after the reinstall of VMware Tools, I got the message as shown in the image.

I also tried Fusion 6 on a bootcamp volume containing Win7 Home Premium, and did not have the same problem.  I do not know why it works with one and not the other.  Ideas?

When you did the reinstall, did you pick modify or repair?

Far to often I found that nether worked correctly and why I always say completely uninstall/reinstall VMware Tools!

I tried the reinstall twice, once with repair and once with modify.  Neither worked.

I uninstalled VMware Tools V9.6.0 and installed the prior version.  Seems to work fine with the old version.  Think I'll wait for an update before trying the new version again.
