Fusion v8.5.8pro unable to locate BOOTCAMP

Hi All

I do actually realise that this is my own fault.  I assumed that because VM Fusion v8.5.8 support APFS that it would be OK in macOS 10.13 BETA

I now realise that while VM Fusion v8.5.8 functions 100%, I have lost all BOOTCAMP support (even though the Windows Partiton functions perfectly in BootCamp and its partition is 100% the same (disk0s3)

Is there any current workaround for this prior to VM Fusion v10 ??   a Public BETA of Fusion v10 available??

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

VMware calls its public beta's "Tech Preview" and yes there currently is a tech preview available.

I don't know if it fixes your issue, but you can certainly try.

Note that you can install the tech preview along side the Fusion 8.5.8, so there is no need to uninstall Fusion 8.

See below for the details on the tech preview:

I also have the same issue and the Tech Preview did not work any better. I also tried the script, fusion-make-bootcamp, which reported the following error:

Unable to open "/dev/disk1": 1

Unable to determine partition start sector(s)
