Fusion doesn't recognize USB components

I upgraded VMware Fusion to 10.1, and once again, Fusion doesn't recognize USB components (printer, external hard drive).  I want to try to avoid time on the phone with tech again.  Can someone please give me a list of components found in the library so I can delete VMware 10.1, and give me a link where I can find version 10.1 so I can download and reinstall to see if I can get Fusion to recognize USB components.

I have already done the System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General...

Hi,

I don't understand the "list of components" part in the question.

But if you want to remove Fusion 10.1 before installing then simply go to applications, find the Fusion icon and drag it to the trash can in your dock.

A direct link to the download URL of VMware Fusion full installer is here:

Download VMware Fusion 10.1.0

hope this helps,

Hi

that will not help you, the new installation get  the same problem

IT´s a secutity Problem

I dragged the Fusion app out  to the trash, then used Put Back to restore it.

Then launch Fusion,

open Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and there should be a message at the bottom with an "allow" button

VMware, INC. Click that.

Now my VMs show all connected USB devices
