Fusion causes Os X boot to become sloooow

Hi

System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.2 (9C31)

Kernel Version: Darwin 9.2.0

Model Identifier: iMac7,1

Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo

Processor Speed: 2 GHz

Number Of Processors: 1

Total Number Of Cores: 2

L2 Cache: 4 MB

Memory: 4 GB

VmWare Version 1.1.1 (72241)

When I start the iMac up it gets to the point where vmware services are starting and then just takes ages before it gets to the login screen. Here's an excerpt from the logs:

14/02/08 9:38:10 AM com.vmware.launchd.vmware[53] VMware Fusion 72241: Starting VMware Fusion:

And a full 5 minutes later i get the login screen:

14/02/08 9:43:41 AM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.UserEventAgent-LoginWindow[113]) Exited: Terminated

Anyone seen this happen? Or am I barking up the wrong tree and thse timestamps aren't giving me the real story?

Thanks!

Are you sure it's Fusion causing this (as opposed to being an innocent bystander)? What happens if you uninstall Fusion?
