Fusion Taking 95% of RAM on loading

I am having an issue with fusion Version 8.5.10 (7527438)

When I load it up it is taking up to 95% of my RAM which is 16gb on an imac running High Sierra 10.13.3

This then freezes and crashes my system

I have windows 10 running on the system.

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Also once win 10 has loaded it is just so slow it is virtually unusable.

Hi,

Just fyi, Fusion 8.5.x is not supported on macOS High Sierra.

With that out of the way, I would expect your guest to work reasonably normally.

Can you attach a vmware.log file from your VM please, so that we have a bit  more information on the configuration of that VM?
