Fusion 8 Pro: Bridged networking not working (Shared works fine)

I'm running OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and Fusion 8 Pro with a Windows 10 virtual machine.

I need to use bridged networking because shared networking doesn't appear to pass UDP broadcasts (or something else, I'm not sure).  However, when I enable bridged networking then I do not receive a DHCP address from my router and even if I manually assign an address it doesn't work.

The OS X machine is connected using wireless to an Airport Extreme (6th generation) which is then connected to my Ubiquity EdgeSwitch (ES-48-LITE) and then finally my Ubiquity EdgeRouter (ER8-PRO).

Everything else on my network is fine, and if I use shared networking then it works but my specific application doesn't work (which requires bridged mode it seems).

Can anybody help?

That's weird, it should 'just work' when you switch the adapter type.

Which device is delivering the DHCP?
