Hi,

I'm not from VMware and I do agree that adding that type of "release notes" are fairly useless and not exactly convincing for a reason to update.

There's a list that I try to keep up-to-date (but I sometimes forget to update at this document Frequently Asked Questions about VMware Fusion - scroll down)

For 8.5.8. I have written down at least these changes.

macOS High Sierra APFS experimental support, macOS High Sierra beta installer

Pretty sure there was some more, but alas I have forgotten by now.

PS: You'll see the same useless release notes in the App Stores for your mobile devices on pretty much all of the major apps.
