Fusion 7 Aero support

I am currently running VMWare Fusion 7 on a late 2013 15" Macbook Pro. It has an Intel Iris Pro 1536MB integrated chip. I have been unable to get Aero to work through my Windows 7 VM and I'd like to know if anyone else has had a similar issue. If so, how did you resolve it?

Same issue here on a mid-2014 MacBook Pro Retina. No solution up to now. (Win7 suggests to get a graphics chip driver that is "WDDM compatible".)

Hello,

The way I normally get this type of issue resolved is:

- completely uninstall VMware Tools

- reboot windows

- install VMware Tools

- reboot windows

- Finally run the tests under "Windows Experience Index" in order to turn on Aero.

Hope this helps,

Try to change hardware version from 11 to 10.
