Fusion 6.0.4: Start Boot Camp in Unity mode

Running VMware Fusion 6.0.4 on OS X 10.9.4 (Mavericks) and using it to access a Windows 7 Professional Boot Camp partition. Works great and able to enter Unity mode no problem. Provided I manually enter unity mode.

I would like for it to automatically enter Unity mode when I startup the Boot Camp vm. Is this possible? I know it is with the competing product but I would like to stick with Fusion if possible. Not a deal breaker but it is a pain in the behind to have to manually enter unity mode all the time. Would nice if I could have it remember the login credentials as well but hey lets not push it.

Ditto..

Except now it is Mac OSX Sierra (10.12) and VMware Fusion (8.5), since it seems this was never solved in all these years...

Hi HfxSpecialI ,

Welcome to Fusion community.Smiley Happy

You could try the following steps:

1.Start up your Boot Camp VM.

2.Enter unity mode.

3.Shutdown the VM.

4.Start up your VM again, it will be in unity mode.
