Fusion 13 ARM W11 Dual monitor support?

I've been unable to get my two monitors to show up with Fusion 13 ARM and W11.

Is this a VMWare tools issue? I've set Fusion to use all displays in full screen mode.

Thanks.

There aren't real tools or drivers for Win 11 on ARM yet.

I'm having the same issue. I can have all screens mirror with full screen mode, but cannot get 'unity' or similar to work. Is there a fix for this??

Not quite the same issue.  Unity isn't supported on Windows 11 yet (as documented in the release notes).

Note that dual monitor support was, if I read the other recent thread right, pulled a few versions back when Apple changed how spaces and mission control work.

So there's no way to actually use multiple monitors now? I have Fusion 12 on my Intel Mac for years and it works flawlessly. My "new" M1 Max has been a paperweight in the corner for almost a year now. Ugh!

I have no idea if this is the issue or not. But, there's a setting "Displays have separate Spaces". (On Ventura, it's at the bottom of Desktop & Dock.) What is it set to on your Intel system and your M1 system?

Mac mini (M2 Pro/32GB/2TB), Intel NUC10i5FNH w/ESXi 7.0,
iPhone 14 Pro Max (256GB), iPad Pro 12.9" (5th gen, M1/16GB/1TB)
40mm Watch Series 6 (Titanium), TV 4K (3rd gen), TV 4K (1st gen)

Yeah I went through this issue way back with my Intel and found that out.

On the M1 it's under "Desktop and Dock" and says "Displays have separate Spaces". I've tried it checked and unchecked with restarts in-between. Still the only way to have multiple monitors is if VMware mirrors them and Windows still will not "Detect" other monitors.

Check out the other thread with a comment from VMWare on it - they indicated support for multiple monitors was discontinued.

In any case, for windows, we only have rudimentary support right now, so definitely won't work.

"Check out the other thread with a comment from VMWare on it - they indicated support for multiple monitors was discontinued."

Do you have a URL for that thread? Can't find it.

The only reason I run Windows is for one program that requires dual monitor support. If what you are saying is true, then I can stop spending time with Fusion. With the absence of full tool support, this should have been "release softare". It's just too crippled.

I'm thankful that Parallels allows me to run my needed app on my Mac Studio silicon machine with dual monitor support, copy and paste, and all the tool's features that are missing from Fusion. Parallels deserves my loyalty, and after this news of discontinuation of dual monitor support by Fusion, I'll stay with Parallels. It may cost more, but IT WORKS.

Yup I may have to try out Parallels as well then. I already paid for Fusion expecting an actual normal release so this is very disappointing.

Yup. I have completely uninstalled Fusion 13 and trashed the VM. I'm done. Shame on VMWare for this unacceptable situation. I don't have a single problem with Parallels running complex software with the 2 needed monitors.

For whatever good it will do, I have added this request to the section of the forum "Fusion Feature Requests". https://communities.vmware.com/t5/Fusion-Feature-Requests/idb-p/fusion-ideas

Anyone with the same request may want to add your voice.

install Microsoft Remote Desktop and connect to fusion through this software, for me works fine on two displays

first need to find IP address of your windows on VMWare (type 'ipconfig' in windows terminal )

create connection to this IP with user/password in MRD, in displays tab mark use all monitors

connect and you will have two displays
