Fusion 12 - Unable to download in Windows 10

MacBook Pro - 2.6 GHz - i7 - 16GB - Big Sur v11.3

Issue: Since upgrading to Fusion 12, I am not able to download files in either Edge nor Chrome; "Failed - Network Error" nor was I able to update Windows 10. Example tools to be downloaded are Notepad++ and XrmToolBox (GitHUB). These are just a couple of examples.

What I have done so far:

  • I have reinstalled Windows 10 Home
  • I have disabled Windows Firewall
  • Verified IOMMU is disabled in Processors & Memory

After reinstalling Windows 10, I was able to run updates but continue to get the same error when downloading.

Thanks..

Make sure the VM is set to NAT, not bridged.

What connectivity DO you have from the VM OS, either to devices on your local network, to your DNS server and router, and to any resources on the internet?

Are there any issues with connectivity from the host OS?

No issues downloading from Host OS. And I believe my connectivity is to devices on local network. No advanced settings were modified. Standard setup.
