Fusion 11 printing problem

Upgraded to 11 and all printers shared with Mac (High Sierra 10.13.6) were disconnected from Windows 8.1.

Followed the steps here: (passthrough)

(through step 13...step 14 was impossible because TP AutoConnect Service does not exist.)

Please help!

Here's how I fixed this.

Windows 8 control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers

then, any rational person would click "Add a printer"

nope!

instead, click "Add a device" and work from there.

4 hours of my life down the drain
