Fusion 11 / Mac OS Mojave -> VM Display goes blank

Hi everybody,

first i upgraded the Mac OS from High Sierra to Mojave, then went from VMware Fusion 10 to 11.

For 4 days my existing Win10-VM worked fine, just like before all that upgrading.

Then suddenly, the VM screen literally went blank.

I can restart the VM or even restart the Macbook Pro, but when the Win10-VM is up again (without any errors) the VM's screen is just blank.

Did anybody have the same problem ? Any hints  ?

Regards,

GH

I found the possible reason to my problem:

Because i prefer the 'Light Dark'-Mode from High Sierra (only Menu bar and Dock in black),

i tried following workaround in Terminal:

> defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool Yes

=> It worked and Fusion 11 did too.

Then i undid that command with:

> defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool False

=> my W10-VM in Fusion 11 went blank.

I rechecked with:

> defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool Yes=> the Win10-VM was fine again.

Now i don't know why that happens exactly, but at least i can use Fusion 11 again.
