Is this related to fusion?
Running Windows 7, and audio testing using Windows 7, i get echo feedback and wine on mic..
Running real time app like Zoom on Mac is fine..
I tried removing sound device in Fusion, and re-adding didn't help..
If you go into Fusion's Virtual Machine > Settings... and choose Sound Card, do you see an option there to Enable Echo Cancellation? If so, try turning that option on... that feature is intended to optimize full-duplex audio for guest telephony and video-conferencing programs.

Justtried that, didn't help
I can also hear feedback even when i type and click trackpad too.. in vm
the sound volume is 50% and mac volume is about 40%.. even with eco-cancellation enabled.
If the guest OS Control Panel (or the telephony/videoconference software running in the guest) has any echo-cancellation options, it might be worth turning them off, since it will not be expecting the additional latency between the speaker and the microphone caused by the virtualization layer... it could possibly make things worse.
That's about all I can think of, I'm afraid, other than altering the audio environment (adjusting the distance between speakers and microphone) or using different audio devices altogether.
I would be keen to see if anyone else has suggestions.
