I just upgraded to Fusion 10 on macOS High Sierra - getting the error; "This host does not support virtualizing real mode" when starting my VM.
"Module 'CPUIDEarly' power on failed"
"Failed to start the virtual machine"
Thoughts?
Thanks !
Hi Dominick,
The iMac "Core i7" 2.93 27-Inch (Mid-2010) is powered by a Quad Core 2.93 GHz Intel "Core i7" I7-870 (Lynnfield) processor belongs to Intel Nehalem family which has just been deprecated by Fusion 10 support, unfortunately.
Regards,
-Rick
Hi DominickR,
Would you please inform about the CPU model of your Mac host?
Start from Fusion 10 some old CPU models (Nehalem and older) are no longer supported.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. Is it possible to cancel my order and return the product?
I won't buy a new mac. I will go back to sierra and use my old fusion 7.
I was able to get a refund through customer service.
