Fusion 10 fails to start bootcamp machine on High Sierra

I've configured new VM to use bootcamp disk directly. It fails to start and almost immediately "VMware Fusion has encountered an error and has shut down Windows. Click Restart Windows to start Windows again. Click Report to collect data and to request support from VMware.". Restarting does not help. I cannot file a support request, because I'm trialing the new version after the last one did not work for me at all on High Sierra.

It's a brand new bootcamp configuration and I've verified that it works natively.

Hi robertjaneczek ,

What's the locale of your macOS? Does this issue occur on a normal VM, I mean not a Boot Camp VM?

My locale is polish.

I've had Linux VM installed from ISO running successfully.

You are actively blocked. VMWare Fusion 8.x will not support Boot Camp in High Sierra. You are being forced to upgrade to Fusion 10.x. Forced.
