Full-screen Fusion 6.02 dropdown menu problem; Mavericks

I recently upgraded from Fusion 5 to Fusion 6 on my MacBook Pro (RD, 2012) running Mavericks.

I normally run a VM in full screen mode on a specific desktop.  When I put the cursor to the top of the screen

1) The Fusion Menu (Apple menu/File/Edit/View/...) doesn't always drop down.  This was a problem in Fusion 5 as well but happens much more frequently now

2) When the menu does come down, often (but not always) there is no response when I click on any of the Menu items

3) There are other items on the right hand side of that same bar that work fine: The double-arrow Fusion icon, wireless indicator, battery, clock, etc.  I can click on those and get response

Going away from full screen and then back fixes it about half the time but not all the time.

I've seen this on Linux Mint and Windows 7 VMs.

I've disabled Translucent Menu Bar within OSX but that doesn't cure it, either.

Suggestions appreciated.

I have had the same problem and have not been able to resolve either.  Rather annoying problem.

I have reverted to Fusion 5 and this problem isn't as bad and as a bonus, a couple of other problems got fixed.
