Folder/Disk Space problems with XP VM

HI

Last year I upgraded from the Beta to the full version of Fusion (1.1). In my haste I think I caused a few problems which are now showing up as I have run out of space and I want to add more disk capacity. I have read the FAQ's and guides but the files and folders on my machine don't seem to fit the standards...probably due to my fumblings when trying to use the old VM files or my lack of understanding:-(

I've attached screen grabs of my folder hierarchy

Grab 1 is my user folder

Grab 2 is the exploded Windows XP Professional vmachine in the above folder.

I dont understand why is the vdisk appears to be split over the Windows XP Professional 2.vmdk (7.14Gb) and Windows XP Professional 2-000001.vmdk (1.34Gb) ?

Rather than sort this out and extend it (XP shows the disk as 7.98GB with 208Mb free) I created a second disk Windows XP Professional-IDE_0-1.vmdk. The vm seems to recognise it but I cant get XP to see it....

Is the simplest answer to start again....if so is there anyway to save the current VM and copy to a new Fusion setup rather than reinstalling Windows and my apps?

thanks

Chris
