File not found

All:

I run an iMac with Leopard installed, all the latest software downloads, upgrades etc are installed.

I have 2 users set up on the iMac.

I have 1 virtual machine (with Windows XP installed) that both users can access, not at the same time and this is fine.

This set up has worked without problems for 1+ year.

Today while signed on under user 1, I can still access the virtual machine, start up Windows XP and all is working. While signed on under user 2 I receive the following error when trying to start up the virtual machine.

+++

File not found: Windows XP Home Edition-000002.vmdk

This file is required to power on this virtual machine. If this file was moved, please provide its new location.

Hope that I presented all relevant information, if not please let me know.

Any help to resolve this is appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like user 1 took a snapshot which user 2 can't access (which is what happens by default if you try to take a snapshot). User 1 should delete the snapshot, or you should change permissions on it so that user 2 can use it.

That did it! I didn't realize I had taken a snapshot, but I guess I had...... Thanks, as always!
