File associations for files that work on PC programs
I just installed Fusion 2 days ago and so far have no major problems and am quite happy. Can clicking on a file in Mac OSX open the appropriate Windows program in the VM?. Ex I have my documents folder on the mac shared. Some of the documents operate on windows only programs and they're listed as generic executable files. Is there a way I can click on file for say MindMapper in my shared drive on the Mac and then open the corresponding Windows program?
It isn't supported yet. What I do is keep my VM apps running in Unity mode, and then if I need to open a particular file, I go into Word 2007 per se, and navigate to the file. Cross platform support would freakin rock though.
