F Keys + Mac OS Sierra + MacBookPro w/touch bar function normally?

I want to purchase a MacBookPro running Sierra 10.12 with a touch bar and run VMWare Fusion 8.5.  My Windows-based court reporting software relies on using F Keys.   Are there any incompatibility issues when using the F Keys and VMWare Fusion 8.5?  In order to activate the F Keys on the Mac with the touch bar, you hit Function and the F Keys appear.  Is there a setting in VMWare that will allow me to turn on the F Keys and allow them to function?  Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

I personally don't think you will have any issues on this. Please see KB Using per-virtual machine keyboard shortcuts (hot keys) in VMware Fusion (2088324) as well as Send Special Key Commands to a Windows or Linux virtual machine section of the Using VMware Fusion Guide - https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Fusion/8.0/fusion-8-user-guide.pdf
