Installing a game, Assassin's Creed II, repeatedly fails with an Isdone.dll error:
"an error occurred while unpacking: unable to write data to disk!" unarc.dll returned an error code: -11
I have been online and watched all the videos and read all the articles related to virtual memory, installing copies of said .dlls in the Windows/System32 folder, etc., but the fact is that this bug is showing to be specific to the Fusion VM. There appears to be some memory limitation causing it. My VM defaults to a 1024 MB RAM, which I have increased up to 5000+ MB but this did not help at all. I tried using 2 cores instead of the default 1 core too and ditto.
I have installed this same game successfully on Parallels so there is no problem with the installation package. Yes, you could say, well just play it there. The fact is that I want to use Fusion so I am humbly asking for your help.
