Enabling the DevTools (F12) in Internet Explorer (Windows 8.1 guest OS)

Hi,

I'm running Windows 8.1 on Fusion 7, and I have the latest Internet Explorer (11) installed there.

Now, IE has some pretty nice development tools which are activated using the F12 key or a menu action.  This is available by default on every physical Windows machine I've ever used, but when running as a guest OS in Fusion, the feature is grayed out in the menu, and not available via F12.

I've searched around the internet and found a '.reg' file that will supposedly insert the required key-values into the windows registry, but these entries don't seem to do the trick when in Fusion.

Is there some limitation in the virtualization scheme that prevents these tools from working?  Or does anyone know of some other trick that needs to be applied?

Thanks

thats working for me without any modifications under Fusion.

I believe the group policy might have been configured incorrectly. You may want to check that.

I've tried setting the policy by hand as well.
