Enable NUMA on VM fusion 13.0

Hi, I want to use setting for vNUMA on my VM fusion,

But with below message in vmware.log vNUMA isn't enabled on vmware.log

" vmx vNUMA is only supported on VMs with HW version >= 8"

How do I set the NUMA on my virtual machine?

First, Before proceeding, make sure your virtual machine is running on hardware version 8 (or higher)

you can configure NUMA on the VM via settings > hardware > Enable NUMA > in the NUMA nodes field, enther the number of nodes you want to use, same goes for node memory you want to allocate.

Once configured, you'll need to restart the vm

Actually, My virtual machine is running on virtual hardware version 20.

  " 707 2023-08-04T09:16:50.298Z In(05) vmx DICT virtualHW.version = "20""

VM via settings > hardware > Enable NUMA > in the NUMA nodes field, enther the number of nodes you want to use, same goes for node memory you want to allocate.

In VM fusion 13.0 interface, there's no graphic interface setup related to NUMA,

If I missing something, Would you let me know?

Many Thanks.

Fusion has no UI for setting vNUMA. What @Gizzie recommended is for ESXi, where vNUMA is documented to be supported

It would surprise me if vNUMA is available for Fusion. Since it’s documented to be a vSphere/ESXi feature it is part of VMware’s hypervisor. Fusion 13 does not use VMware’s hypervisor - it uses Apple’s hypervisor and I doubt that Apple has implemented vNUMA functions.

@Technogeezer You are totally correct. I don't know where my mind was. Must have missed the fusion part in the question!
