So I cant access the web when running win7. Its been an issue for a while - so it means I need to save documents to shared folders then go back to mac to email etc. Ive tried all sorts of solutions offered by general windows forums but wondering if there is something in the FUSION setup. My works techie thinks it may be...I'm not so sure. Anyone else had this issue??
when you say "for a while" is this PRE El Crapitan as well?
can tell you I have:
Crapitan 10.11.5
Fusion 7.1.3
Windows 7 Pro SP1
IE, Chrome, Firefox all browse fine in the Guest OS
Network Adapter is set to BRIDGED (which I suspect is the key to your problem)
...try playing with the network adaptor settings in VM (NAT/Bridged and Host-Only)
and fire your works techie if he cant fix it ![]()

I just looked, and thanks for pointing out where to go, and it was set to NAT. just having a play around now to see whats best. Cheers.

funny enough, you CAN! :smileylaugh:
remote support available, site visits optional :smileydevil:
and yes I did deliberately refer to it as El CrAPITAN... I'm just not feeling its stability or play nicely with the older apps.
Glad you're up and running!
